OBASANJO COMMISSIONS 23.4KM EKET-ETINAN ROAD PROJECT










  

Former President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, accompanied by Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel and other political stakeholders, today inaugurated the newly completed 23.4km Eket - Etinan Road Project connecting Etinan, Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium with Eket LGA .


The road project which has three new bridges measuring 199m, a 4.11km Outfall Drain and a Carriageway Width of 8m each was executed by the Governor to a perfect finishing in line with the Completion Agenda drive of his administration.

 When I was younger, every Easter my parents will not stop to Ware us new clothes for us to celebrate this period but as I grow up things were a bid differ from what I use to see.  Now, i wonder if it could be because of the cost of living and hardship makes people care of less about this period. It is significant to Christian to celebrate the death of Christ but we choose not to do so again. The only thing that make us even feel the season is our great content creator, trying to key in to the season. A lot of Jesus on the cross, some will even make you laugh and forgot the importance and impactful reason why Jesus die for us.  The bible clearly stated, that he die for our sin and to bring us closer to the father in heaven.  Like I said before, years ago we use to cry when we watch on television, even when it was black and white.
